Cream is the main colour of this men's ballet costume, tailored for male dancers. The upper body is cut from brocade. White meets beige across the piece. The decoration includes embroidery with rhinestone accents. Purple, gold, amber beaded embroidery appears at the front of the vest. Dark brown, gold beaded border trim marks the neckline. Dark brown, gold beaded border trim also appears on the front edges. Up top, a V neckline pairs with long white sleeves with gathered cuffs. The pointed waist hem and deep V-neckline shape the upper body. Also built into the design: a mock two-piece vest-over-shirt look.
The tailoring covers male parts in productions such as: Paquita; The Sleeping Beauty; Cinderella; Swan Lake; with further uses in ballets such as Giselle or The Nutcracker.
For stage repertoire, this white ballet costume pairs the construction described above with the fittings shown in the photos. This long sleeve ballet costume follows the fabric and decoration details described above.
